Ken Taylor’s artistic voice shouts out for Nike USA

Oct 18 2010
Nike USA commissioned Ken Taylor to design two T shirts for Footlocker. The working process was one that let Ken loose in his element. They trusted his interpretation of the brief because it wasn’t just the look of his work but his interpretation of his subjects that they admired.

The first of the designs asked for Ken’s fresh take on a bumper sticker from the 70′s that featured the iconic Statue of Liberty.

The second design is Ken’s visual opinion of “mind blowing”.

Ken’s artistic voice has many tones and in this case his high contrast shadows and energy packed line work gave each design its edge, whilst his bright colours kept the designs fresh for Footlocker’s market.
