David James commissioned to add a world of character

GPY&R Art Director, Dean Mortenson, needed to produce an animatic which combined photographs of Jules Lund with characterised storyboards that reflected the illustrations on the pack. David James was perfect. He is a finished illustrator who specialises in character design and also a seasoned practitioner in the vector medium which helped GPY&Rs production team edit together the photographs in the animation.

Below on the left hand side are the storyboard illustrations David did to help GPY&R sell in the idea. On the right hand side are still frames from the final TVC which was done by the production company using their own imagery.
