The execution of these animations was done by passing illustrated layers in front of a still background which is very similar to the way animatic films are made (animatics are 30 second animations that get presented in research to garner the public’s response before TV ideas go to air). Chris Wahl’s illustration career has seen him produce thousands of these for hundreds of clients.
Add to this the fact that when we met Chris he had just left working at Disney on animations and you have an illustrator that fits the brief better than a plaster cast.
