Alison Wallace, tames a classroom of little monsters

May 22 2009
Alison Wallace loves an oddity and the more odd the better. Characters covered in fur, dribbling mucas, picking their nose or even resembling a paddlepop icecream with well groomed hair! So she was an obvious choice when it came to creating a host of kiddie characters for Optus’s latest campaign for Kids Help Line. M&C Saatchi’s campaign was directed at parents who at times feel like their kids are from another world and may at times need a little help relating to them.

Please take a moment to scroll through Alison’s original sketches and work in progress that lead to the final ad as well as a few additional examples of the campaign.

Thank you to Adrienne for handling the production in her usual fantastic fashion and to Art Director Rob Concepcion for such a great conception. Additional credit goes to Creative Director Gavin McLeod and Copywriter Ben Yabsley.
